보안취약점은 IT운영환경에 따라 발생 가능하다.

MS 윈도우가 지배적인 한국의 IT운영환경의 경우, MS 윈도우 7의  기술지원 종료와 같이 이러한 이야기가 나올 때마다, 향후 나타나게 될 보안적 이슈와 기술적인 지원 문제가 큰 화두가 되고 있다.

일반적인 운영환경이라면, 이러한 운영체제의 보안취약점이 큰 이슈로 대두될 수 있다.  보안이 강화된 기업에 있어서는 MS 윈도우의 기술적 지원 종료가 갖게 될 의미는 크지 않을 것이나, 일반 사용자 환경에 있어서는 보안업데이트에 대한 이슈를 고민 할 필요가 있다.

보안취약점은 운영환경에 따라 있을 수도 또는 없을 수도 있다. 즉, 어떻게 운영환경을 통제 하느냐에 따라, 보안취약점 또한 관리가 가능하다고 본다.

최근 기사화된 러시아 푸틴 대통령의 윈도우 XP 사용에 관해 주의 깊게 살펴볼 필요가 있다.

Security vulnerabilities depend on the IT operation environment. So, it is possible to manage security weaknesses by strengthening the IT environment.
